In news reports, the coastal districts of Bayelsa and Delta states on Sunday were flooded with fierce-looking armed military scouring the creeks of the two states on a relentless search for the killers of 16 soldiers of the Nigerian Army suspected to have been murdered by youths of Okuama community in Ughelli South local government area of Delta State on Thursday, 14 March. Considering the gravity of the incident and response, fresh troops have been deployed in the areas, especially the troubling scenes and other areas of the Ijaw and Urhobo communities in the two neighbouring states.
