Several flights across Europe have been disrupted by bomb threats, forcing some aircraft to divert or make emergency landings, according to reports.
The latest incidents come just days after at least seven flights received similar threats, raising fresh security concerns among airlines and aviation authorities.
Aer Lingus confirmed that a flight travelling from Dublin to Rome was diverted to Normandy in France as a precaution while security checks were carried out.
A Finnair aircraft was also escorted to Rome by Italian fighter jets following a bomb alert, Reuters reported.
Meanwhile, Bulgarian media reported that three aircraft made emergency landings after receiving bomb threats.
Authorities have not identified who was behind Tuesday’s alerts, and no group or individual has claimed responsibility for the threats.
Officials have also not publicly attributed the incidents to any person or organization.
