Popular Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo has reportedly died at the age of 40, triggering an outpouring of grief across Nigeria’s entertainment industry and among fans on social media.
Multiple Nigerian media outlets reported on Tuesday that the actor died on Monday after a prolonged illness linked to cancer, though an official statement from his family had yet to be released as of press time.
