The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has released a total of 1,897,692 results from the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), covering candidates who sat for the test within its first three days.
In a statement issued on Sunday by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the board confirmed that 1,264,940 results from Friday, 17 April and Saturday, 18 April have now been processed and made available.
This follows an earlier release of 632,752 results for candidates who wrote the examination on Thursday, April 16.
According to JAMB, the phased release reflects its standard procedure of processing results in batches as the nationwide examination progresses.
“The results of candidates who sat the examination on Friday, 17 April and Saturday, 18 April 2026 have now been released,” the statement noted.
With this latest update, nearly 1.9 million candidates can now access their scores.
The board advised candidates to check their results using its official SMS channels.
To access scores, candidates are required to send “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used during registration.
JAMB noted that the released results represent only the first three days of the examination, which began nationwide on Thursday.
More results are expected in the coming days as additional batches are processed.
The 2026 UTME is projected to involve over two million candidates across computer-based test centres nationwide.
The board reiterated its commitment to maintaining transparency and efficiency in the conduct of the examination and release of results.
Candidates are advised to rely only on official channels and avoid third-party platforms claiming to offer faster access or score upgrades.
