Nationality: Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
Education: Must possess at least a First Degree (Second Class Lower) or an HND (Lower Credit) in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
NYSC: Must provide a valid Discharge Certificate or an Exemption Certificate.
Physical Standards:
Male Height: Minimum of 1.68m.
Female Height: Minimum of 1.65m.
Age Limit: Generally between 23 and 30 years by the time of commissioning (specialized roles like Medical Consultants may have extended limits up to 40 years).
Health: Must be medically, mentally, and physically fit according to Nigerian Army standards.
Clean Record: Must have no criminal convictions and must not belong to any secret societies or cults.
