Kenyan police have reportedly arrested the Binance regional manager for Africa, Nadeem Anjarwalla, who escaped from custody in Nigeria a month ago. According to news reports, the INTERPOL is working towards extraditing Anjarwalla to Nigeria within the week. Anjarwalla escaped from an Abuja guest house where he and his colleague, Tigran Gambaryan, had been kept by the Federal Government. Anjarwalla, who reportedly fled on a Kenyan passport, escaped after guards led him to a nearby mosque for prayers during Ramadan. Anjarwalla and Gambaryan are being charged with tax evasion and money laundering by the Federal Government. They were arrested and detained on February 28.
