The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is to commence the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for the Ondo Governorship election from April 3-10, 2024. APC National Organizing Secretary, Alhaji Suleiman Argungu in a notice on Monday said the release of the timetable and schedule of activities complied with the Electoral Act 2022 and relevant sections of the Constitution. According to Arugungu: “In compliance with the relevant sections of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Electoral Act 2022, the APC hereby makes public its timetable and schedule of activities leading to the 16th of November 2024 gubernatorial election in Ondo state as announced by INEC.” He further said that the primary election is slated for April 25, while the primary election appeal is scheduled for April 26. The ruling party pegged the sale of the expression of interest form at N10 million while the nomination form goes for N40 million. It added that female aspirants and Persons living with disabilities (PWDs) are to purchase an expression of interest form while the nomination form is free.
