Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC) a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) on Thursday, April 25, signed a share subscription agreement with African Refinery for the colocation of a 100,000-capacity refinery with the complex of PHRC. NNPCL disclosed this on its social media handles, noting that the pact will culminate in the supply of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) petrol and automotive Gas Oil (AGO) diesel. Aviation Turbine Kerosene (ATK) and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) are known as cooking gas. The company added that the agreement will lead to the supply of other petroleum products to the domestic and international markets. According to NNPCL, it will also generate employment opportunities for Nigerians.
