The Senate Ad-hoc Committee investigating the N30 trillion Ways and Means loans to the Federal Government and N1.1 trillion Anchor Borrowers’ fund on Tuesday, 19 March grilled officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The Chairman of the Committee, Senator Isah Jibrin (Kogi East), while answering questions from reporters after the Committee met with officials CBN at the National Assembly in Abuja, said that the loans must be recovered in full. The CBN’s representatives were led to the meeting by the Deputy Governor, Corporate Services, Bala Bello.
