President Bola Tinubu is in the Netherlands invited by prime minister Mark Rutte for to high-level discussions. A statement last by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, said the President is visiting at the invitation of Prime Minister Rutte. While in the Netherlands, President Tinubu will hold separate meetings with King Willem-Alexander, and Queen Maxima, the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA). He will also participate in the Nigerian-Dutch Business and Investment Forum to explore opportunities for collaboration and partnerships between Nigerian and Dutch businesses, particularly in agriculture and water management.
President Tinubu will proceed to Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to attend a special World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting scheduled for April 28-29. The meeting on Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development, will bring together over 1,000 leaders from business, government, and academia. The President’s visits to The Netherlands and Saudi Arabia are considered significant steps towards promoting economic growth and development in Nigeria.
